WOLT, UBER Eats, Lieferando - these well known companies deliver food all over Berlin. Although they are not the only ones doing this they are the largest companies at the moment. Their workforce - the riders - are mostly legally disadvantaged migrants from South East Asia, who are in a very precarious situation due to racist german residency laws and regulations. Exploited further by private universities these workers are under extreme pressure to earn the fees required to maintain a permit to live legally in Germany. Above mentioned corporations exploit them brutally. But these workers organised themselves and fight back.
