In hours the EU will publish a ground-breaking climate law to make Europe the first continent legally bound to zero carbon emissions. It's amazing -- but huge corporations, giant polluters, and giant polluting companies and coal-reliant countries are fighting to squash ambition. And one man is in the middle: Frans Timmermans, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission. The EU's bold climate plan rests in his hands: Will he rise as a global champion, or crumble under the pressure -- this week is critical, and he needs to feel the public right behind him.
