– English version below –
https://umap.openstreetmap.de/de/map/ki-kameras-am-kotti_165271
1. Ausgerichtete Bullet-Kamera: https://www.axis.com/de-at/products/axis-q1809-le
2. 180° Panorama-Kamera: https://www.axis.com/products/axis-q3839-pve

English:
AI cameras at Kotti
Recently, there have been 30 new AI cameras installed at Kotti, of which 16 are installed at the walls of the Gewobag building, left side of the Kotti police station, and underneath, and 14 underneath the high metro station of U1/U3.
This means, the northern part of Kotti is almost completely covered, however, there are no AI cams in southern part.
The locations of all AI cameras are now on OpenStreetMap and can be seen on this map:
https://umap.openstreetmap.de/de/map/ki-kameras-am-kotti_165271
The cameras are installed in 3 to 7 meters height and have an extremely long field of view.
Two different camera models were used:
1. Oriented bullet camera: https://www.axis.com/en-be/products/axis-q1809-le
2. 180° panorama camera: https://www.axis.com/products/axis-q3839-pve
See photos of the AI cameras above the English version.
Take care of other property protection cameras, which look similar, but don’t use AI.
More surveillance cameras at Kotti and all over Berlin are documented on the „Surveillance under Surveillance“ website:
https://sunders.uber.space
For everyone with an Android phone in Berlin, download Schattenweg to avoid (AI) surveillance cameras!
Plan routes avoiding surveillance cams, filter by cam type & other layers.
Fully Offline, Private, Free & Open Source! All data is crowd sourced.
Here is the guide to install:https://github.com/phrag/SchattenWeg
There are more photos of the cameras on our website: https://goerli247.org/2026/11/01/ki-kameras-am-kotti/
On October 28, Berlin’s Interior Senator, Iris Spranger (SPD), and Police Chief Barbara Slowik Meisel celebrated the start of AI surveillance in a PR press event (there were even actors to play a fight an demonstrate the AI performance):

We offer our heartfelt congratulations on such stupidity: 4 million euros for a technology that accomplishes nothing except collecting our data and generating profits.
A few dozen people spontaneously gathered for a counter-demonstration and received a lot of support from locals.
Spranger has already announced plans to continue with the AI surveillance project in the coalition agreement and to expand it next to Alexanderplatz, Görlitzer Park, Wrangelkiez, and Warschauer Bridge. Even the red-red-green coalition’s paper made no mention of halting the expansion. The project is merely scheduled to be evaluated in 2028 in collaboration with the police and will likely continue under a red-red-green government as well.
So, protesting and resistance is in our hands (once again)!
