Stellt euch vor: 
Nur 1,5h fahrt von euch (Berlin) entfernt entsteht ein 12 Hektar großes und 7,8 Milliarden euro schweres Koloss eines Bauprojekts für die europaweite Abdeckung von Cloud-Rechenkapazität. Global gedacht ist es quasi direkt vor euer Haustür. Was würdet ihr dann machen?
Dies ist ein Aufruf zum kollektiven Brainstormen, denn das ist Wirklichkeit und nennt sich „AWS European Souvereign Cloud".

Hier ein paar Eckdaten:

Standort: Gewerbe- und Industriepark (GIP) Massen-Niederlausitz, direkt an der B96/A13.
Geplante Leistung: 300 MEGAWATT Anschlussleistung
Gesamtprojekt AWS Brandenburg: Teil der „AWS European Souvereign Cloud“ mit
geplanten 7,8 Milliarden Euro Investition bis 2040.
Geplanter Baubeginn: 5. Februar 2026 (erster Spatenstich)
Fläche: ca 12 Hektar, verkauft von der Gemeinde

Lokale Strukturen und Bevölkerung vor Ort werden zunehmend nervös. Der erste Spatenstisch ist schon gesetzt worden und die Vernichtungsmaschinerie geht seinen kapitalistischen Gang. 
Zeitgleich scheint sich in unserer Bewegung für eine befreite Gesellschaft nichts zu rühren. Und das obwohl schon Strukturen vor Ort existieren. Aber was können kleinstädtische Strukturen denn schon bewirken gegen einen Gegner der global schon unzählige lokale Widerstandsgruppen zermalmt hat. 
Dies kann also nicht die alleinige Aufgabe der Menschen vor Ort sein. Es die Verantwortung aller Gruppen in der BRD und sogar europaweit sich dagegen als aktiven Part zu stellen. Das Rechenzentrum wird gebaut weil wir es dulden. Das Privateigentum existiert weil es sich gewiss ist, dass es niemand anrührt. Die Vernichtung der Menschen und die der Natur schreitet voran weil wir es zulassen!

Wir möchten nicht Teil dieser Täterschaft sein und wir möchten auch nicht in die hundertste Geschichte eingehen wo die Unterdrückten schon wieder verlieren. 
Die Lage ist ernster denn je.

Imagine this: 
Just a 1.5-hour drive from where you live (Berlin), a colossal construction project spanning 12 hectares and costing 7.8 billion euros is taking shape to provide Europe-wide cloud computing capacity. On a global scale, it’s practically right on your doorstep. What would you do?
This is a call for collective brainstorming, because this is reality, and it’s called the “AWS European Sovereign Cloud.”

Here are a few key facts:

Location: Massen-Niederlausitz Commercial and Industrial Park (GIP), directly on the B96/A13.
Planned capacity: 300 megawatts of connected load
Overall AWS Brandenburg project: Part of the “AWS European Sovereign Cloud” with
a planned investment of 7.8 billion euros by 2040.
Planned start of construction: February 5, 2026 (groundbreaking ceremony)
Area: approx. 12 hectares, sold by the municipality

Local structures and the local population are growing increasingly anxious. The groundbreaking ceremony has already taken place, and the machinery of destruction is running its capitalist course. 
At the same time, nothing seems to be stirring in our movement for a liberated society. And this despite the fact that local structures already exist. But what can small-town structures possibly achieve against an opponent who has already crushed countless local resistance groups globally? 
This cannot, therefore, be the sole responsibility of the local people. It is the responsibility of all groups in Germany and even across Europe to actively oppose this. The data center is being built because we tolerate it. Private property exists because it is certain that no one will touch it. The destruction of people and nature is advancing because we allow it!

We do not want to be part of this complicity, nor do we want to become yet another story where the oppressed lose once again.
