For our comrades that died for the defense of life
 For the fighters, that were willing to do the necessary For the comrades, that decided to take life into their own hands For the revolutionaries, that demanded nothing less than everything And for the people, that were kids like you and me For you, Kyriako For you, Sara and Sandro For everyone, that gave their life for the defence of life On 19th of March 2026, anarchist comrades Sara Ardizzone and Alessandro Mercogliano were found dead following the collapse of a farmhouse in Rome. The media is reporting about the alleged explosion of an explosive device. While the exact circumstances remain unclear, one thing is clear to us: Sara and Sandro died in action, they died fighting (https://circoloculturaleanarchicofiaschi.noblogs.org/2026/03/21/piu-forti-della-morte/). We receive this news shortly before the start of the Ampelokipi trial against our anarchist comrades Marianna Manoura and Dimitra Zarafeta, as well as the three other accused. Marianna was seriously injured in the explosion of an explosive device on 31st of October 2024 in Athens and has been inmprisoned at the Korydallos women’s prison ever since.  That same explosion killed our comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris. We remember with sorrow those first days after his death: the emptiness, the grief, the anger. The attempt to grasp the incomprehensible, to understand the finality of one single act. Only together we could face the reality in which we live. We cried together and screamed together. We sat together in silence. We discussed, made plans, and took action together. We decided to understand the defense of the revolutionary memory as our responsibility and as the logical consequence of our shared struggle. To the friends, comrades, and families of Sara and Sandro: We feel your grief, we share your anger, and we stand with you in the defence of the memory of our fallen comrades. We wish you all the strength, love, and tenderness we need to keep the flame of our common struggle alive. We wish you moments of rest, to grieve and cry together. März 2026 wurden die anarchistischen Gefährt*innen Sara Ardizzone und Alessandro Mercogliano nach dem Einsturz eines Bauernhauses in Rom tot aufgefunden. Die Medien berichten über die angebliche Explosion eines Sprengsatzes. Bleiben die genauen Umstände auch ungeklärt, für uns ist klar: Sara und Sandro sind in Aktion gestorben, sie sind kämpfend gestorben (https://circoloculturaleanarchicofiaschi.noblogs.org/2026/03/21/piu-forti-della-morte/). Uns erreicht diese Nachricht kurz vor Prozessbeginn des Ampelokipi-Verfahrens gegen unsere anarchistischen Gefährtinnen Marianna Manoura und Dimitra Zarafeta sowie drei weitere Angeklagte. Marianna wurde bei der Explosion eines Sprengsatzes am 31. Oktober 2024 in Athen schwer verletzt und ist seitdem im Frauengefängnis Korydallos inhaftiert.  Dieselbe Explosion tötete unseren Gefährten Kyriakos Xymitiris. Wie erinnern uns schmerzlich an die ersten Tage nach seinem Tod: die Leere, die Trauer, die Wut. Der Versuch das Unfassbare zu greifen, die Endgültigkeit einer einzigen Handlung zu verstehen. Der Realität, in der wir leben, konnten wir uns nur gemeinsam stellen. Wir weinten gemeinsam und schrien gemeinsam. Wir saßen zusammen und schwiegen. Wir diskutieren, schmiedeten Pläne und machten Aktionen gemeinsam. Wir entschieden uns, die Verteidigung des revolutionären Gedenkens als unsere Verantwortung und als die logische Konsequenz unseres gemeinsamen Kampfes zu verstehen. An die Freund*innen, Gefährt*innen und Familien von Sara und Sandro: Wir fühlen eure Trauer, wir teilen eure Wut und wir stehen an eurer Seite, um die Erinnerung an unsere gefallenen Gefährt*innen zu verteidigen. Wir wünschen euch all die Kraft, Liebe und Zärtlichkeit, die wir brauchen, um die Flamme unseres gemeinsamen Kampfes am Leben zu erhalten. Wir wünschen euch Momente der Ruhe, um gemeinsam zu trauern und zu weinen.
