Demonstration against the racist killing of late Tonou-Mbobda, who was killed by security officers at Hamburg University Hospital Eppendorf (UKE)

Tonou-Mbobda was mercilessly bruised, beaten and suffocated to death by security guards at the University Clinic of Hamburg on Sunday the 21st of April 2019. The brutal killing of late Tonou Mbobda by UKE security guards was apparently motivated by anti-Black racism, and of course by the rising of nationalists and right wing movement. In fact, some people said that the security guards who brutalized our Comrade to death are known to be right-wing.
The racist attacks by right wing extremists in Germany and Europe is at its peak and might continue to rise, if nothing is done, because the perpetrators of racist attacks feel explicitly legitimate to attack Blacks, PoC, refugees and immigrants, because they scarcely convicted for their brutal acts.
We want to recall your attention to series of racist attacks by German police which eventually lead to the death of Oury Jalloh (2005), Yaya Jabbi (2016), Laya-Alama Condé (2005), Achidi John (2001), Christie Schwundeck (2011) and others of which the perpetrators were not convicted and the victims and their families did not get justice until today.
Lampedusa in Hamburg, Cameroonian Community, Friends of Tonou-Mbobda, The Black Community in Hamburg, Asmaras World and the group Kan Kilin are using this medium to invite all civil society in Hamburg and beyond to join our demonstration. We will march to demand justice and accountability for the perpetrators of the death of Comrade Tonou-Mbobda and others, investigation and record on how mental-ill patients are treated in the UKE and other hospitals, implementation of anti-racist curse/orientation for all police officers, security guards, social workers, teachers, doctors and all public workers.

Tonou-Mbobda a été impitoyablement battu et étouffé à mort par des agents de sécurité de la clinique universitaire de Hambourg le dimanche 21 avril 2019. L‘assassinat brutal du frère Tonou Mbobda par les agents de sécurité de l‘UKE avait apparemment un caractère racisme anti-Noir, sur fond de montée des nationalistes et des mouvements d‘extrême droite que nous déplorons en ce moment. En effet, il nous a été reporté que les agents de sécurité, qui ont brutalisé notre camarade à mort, font partie des mouvements d‘extrême droite.
Les agressions racistes commises par les extrémistes de droite en Allemagne et en Europe sont à leur apogée et pourraient continuer à augmenter si rien n‘est fait. Les auteur.e.s d‘agressions racistes se sentent explicitement légitimes pour attaquer les Noir.e.s, les PoC, les personnes réfugiées et migrantes, étant trop souvent impuni.e.s pour leurs actes brutaux.
Nous n‘arrêterons jamais de dénoncer les nombreuses agressions racistes perpétrées par la police allemande qui ont entraîné la mort de plusieurs personnes : Oury Jalloh (2005), Yaya Jabbi (2016), Laya-Alama Condé (2005), Achidi John (2001), Christie Schwundeck (2011) etc…
Il est inacceptable qu‘à ce jour, les auteurs n‘ont toujours pas été condamnés et que les victimes et leurs familles n‘ont pas obtenu justice.

Lampedusa à Hambourg, la communauté camerounaise, ses amis, Black Community in Hamburg, Asmaras World et la group Kan Kilin appellent aujourd‘hui toute la société civile de Hamburg et au-delà, à rejoindre notre manifestation. Nous marcherons pour exiger que justice soit faite et que les auteurs du meurtre du camarade Tonou-Mbobda comme des autres répondent de leurs actes. Nous exigeons également que des enquêtes soient menées sur le traitement des personnes malades mentales à l‘UKE et dans le milieu pychiatrique en général, que tous les policier.e.s, agents de sécurité, travailleur.se.s sociaux, enseignant.es, médecins et agents du service public soient formés à la thématique anti-raciste.

Demonstration gegen die rassistische Ermordung von Tonou-Mbobda durch Sicherheitskräfte am Hamburger Universitätsklinikum Eppendorf (UKE).

William Tonou-Mbobda wurde am Sonntag, den 21. April 2019 gnadenlos von Sicherheitsleuten der Universitätsklinik Hamburg gewürgt, geschlagen und zu Tode gebracht. Die brutale Ermordung von Tonou-Mbobda durch UKE-Sicherheitsleute war anscheinend auf Anti-SchwarzenRassismus zurückzuführen, die sich auch im Aufstieg der Nationalisten und der rechten Bewegung zeigen. Tatsächlich sagten einige Zeug_innen, dass die Wachmänner, die unseren Genossen brutal zusamme-
ngeschlagen haben, als rechtsextrem bekannt sind.
Die rassistischen Angriffe rechtsextremer Menschen in Deutschland und Europa sind auf ihrem Höhepunkt und könnten weiter steigen, wenn nichts unternommen wird.
Die Täter_innen rassistischer Angriffe fühlen sich dazu berechtigt, Schwarze, PoC, Flüchtlinge und Ausländer_innen anzugreifen, weil ihre brutalen Taten kaum verurteilt werden.
Wir möchten auf eine Reihe rassistischer Angriffe der deutschen Polizei aufmerksam machen, die zum Tod von Oury Jalloh (2005), Yaya Jabbi (2016), Laya-Alama Condé (2005), Achidi John (2001), Christie Schwundeck (2011) und anderen führten. Die Täter_innen wurden nicht verurteilt und die Opfer und ihre Familien haben bis heute keine Gerechtigkeit erfahren.

Lampedusa in Hamburg, die Kamerunische Community, Freunde von Tonou-Mbobda,
Black Community in Hamburg, Asmaras World und die Gruppe Kan Kilin nutzen dieses Medium, um die gesamte Zivilgesellschaft in Hamburg und darüber hinaus zur Teilnahme an unserer Demonstration einzuladen. Wir demonstrieren, um Gerechtigkeit zu fordern. Die Verantwortlichen des Mordes an unserem Bruder Tonou-Mbobda und anderen müssen zur Rechenschaft gezogen werden, es muss untersucht und aufgezeigt werden, wie psychisch kranke Patienten im UKE und anderen Krankenhäusern behandelt werden! Außerdem fordern wir die Einführung von antirassistischen Trainings für Polizeibeamt_innen, Sicherheitsbeamt_innen, Sozial-arbeiter_innen, Lehrer_innen, Ärzt_innen und für alle Beschäftigten des öffentlichen Dienstes.
