German embassy painted in solidarity with Maja

During the pride weekend in Helsinki, we thought it would be fitting to remind the German embassy of Maja, the non-binary antifascist currently held in a Hungarian prison. Maja has been convicted on flimsy evidence in a highly politicized show-trial where the conviction was decided already before the trial even started. The German government can talk all day about the rule of law and international agreements, the fact is that they have done almost nothing to bring Maja back. On the contrary, the German state is the one responsible for the illegal extradition of Maja to Hungary. So on the night of 27.6. as part of the international action days we painted the message "FREE MAJA" on the fence of the German embassy in Helsinki. To send solidarity to Maja - you are not forgotten! We also want to send strength and solidarity to the antifascist in Göttingen who was stabbed by a nazi on the 20.-21.6.
