Iniradar ist ein Projekt zur Sichtbarmachung und Vernetzung von Initiativen der gegenseitigen Hilfe. Nun konnten wir (endlich!) in erster Version veröffentlichen. Lasst uns dieses Tool nutzen, um gemeinsam gegenseitige Hilfe in Berlin zu stärken! https://iniradar.org

Was ist Iniradar?

Initiativen, Anlaufstellen, Hilfestellen, mit Tausenden Angeboten direkter und (manchmal) gegenseitiger Hilfe ist die solidarische Infrastruktur in Berlin gut aufgestellt. Doch fühlt mensch sich in der Praxis – als Hilfesuchende oder vermittlende Person – oft verloren. Wer kann mir helfen? Ist das auch für mich gedacht? Was bieten sie genau an? Ist das Angebot kostenlos? Diese Fragen wirken doch etwas entmutigend, vor allem für die Menschen, die nicht eh schon Zugang zu einem gut informierten Netzwerk haben. Und sind das nicht besonders die Menschen, die wir erreichen wollen?

Aus Sicht der Initiativen bleiben neben der Praxis oft wenig Zeit oder Mittel um sich untereinander zu vernetzen und sich um Sichtbarkeit zu kümmern – auch wenn das prinzipiell erwünscht ist¹. Iniradar will diese Lücke füllen. Daher haben wir Angebote direkter Hilfe recherchiert, kategorisiert und stellen sie nun als interaktive Webseite zur Verfügung, unkommerziell, selbstorganisiert und dauerhaft kostenlos.

„Nach der Krise ist vor der Krise“

Während der Corona Krise wurde sichtbar, wie essentiell die solidarische Infrastruktur ist, für konkrete Hilfe, aber auch um die Vereinzelung zu brechen. Inspiriert vom ‚Jetzt-erst-Recht‘-Bündnis aus Initiativen und aktivistischen Gruppen starteten wir Ende 2020 die Überlegungen zum Projekt. Jetzt, bald 2 Jahre später und quasi pünktlich zur nächsten Krise, sind wir nun froh, online gehen zu können. Denn gegenseitige Hilfe erlaubt uns, in Krisenzeiten zu bestehen und widerständige Strukturen aufbauen zu können.

„Wir sind keine Liste mit Szene-Küfas“

Iniradar kommt mit einem überraschend cleanen – böse Zungen sagen ‚hippen‘ – Layout daher. Wir sind kein Start-Up, aber auch keine Liste die sich auf Szene-Küfas beschränkt. Damit auch viele Menschen Iniradar nutzen können und wollen, haben wir uns für ein offenes Design und leichte Bedienbarkeit entschieden. Inhaltlich wollen wir ebenfalls die gesamte Breite an Unterstützungsangebote abdecken; eben von den Szene-Küfas (wo wir sehr gern hingehen), bis zu spezialisierten und teilweise auch professionalisierten Beratungsangeboten für bestimmte Zielgruppen. Was wir nicht listen, soll klar sein, sind Gruppen die sich diskriminierend positionieren oder mit ihrem Angebot Geld machen wollen.

„Die Welt verändern, und zwar radikal, wollen wir dennoch!“

Es finden sich bei uns auch Inis und Angebote, die jetzt nicht unbedingt als radikal emanzipatorisch gelten. Wir wollen, dass jemand die Unterstützung erfährt, wie und wann sie gebraucht wird - und unter Umständen kann das eine Kooperation mit Akteuren bedeuten, die den gesellschaftlichen Status Quo mittragen. Die Welt verändern, und zwar radikal, wollen wir dennoch! Diesen Widerspruch sind wir mit unserer Einordnung für den politischen Hintergrund der Gruppen angegangen. Da geht es um ‚basisdemokratische Organisierung‘, eine ‚machtkritische Haltung‘ und um finanzielle und organisatorische Unabhängigkeit. Wir wollen so Transparenz über den Hintergrund der Angebote schaffen und klarstellen was für uns Bausteine einer solidarischen Gesellschaft sind.

Von Vorbildern und Unterschieden

Die Idee einer politischen Sammlung von Hilfsangeboten ist nicht neu. Von den 70er bis in die 90er Jahre gab es das Stattbuch³. eine Art ‚gelbe Seiten’ für die Bewegung. Initiativen, Anlaufstellen und politische Gruppen wurden nach ihrem Themenfeld eingeordnet, ihre Angebote gelistet und mit kurzen Texten zum politischen Hintergrund geschmückt. Auch digital gibt es heute schon mehrere Listen, z.B. die Webseite der Kältehilfe Berlin, die ‚Hilfelotsen‘ oder das andere Berlin.⁴ Was es unseres Wissens noch nicht gibt, ist eine themenübergreifende und durchsuchbare Online-Sammlung die nach spezifischen Angeboten filterbar ist. Das wurde mit Iniradar jetzt angefangen.

Was wir noch vorhaben

Ab sofort ist auf iniradar.org die erste Version unserer Webseite verfügbar! Gerade sind erst testweise etwa 60 Initiativen eingetragen und es ist beabsichtigt, dass das sich in nächster Zeit viele Inis selbst eintragen. Gegen Jahresende wollen wir dann mit der fertigen Version der Webseite nachlegen, und planen dafür einiges an Öffentlichkeit.

Aber auch, wenn das Angebot von Initiativen rege genutzt wird, werden wir noch nicht am Ziel sein. Es ist uns bewusst, dass wir nur mit einer Webseite unseren Ansprüchen nach mehr Vernetzung und gegenseitiger Hilfe nicht gerecht werden. Daher ist – neben einigen technischen Verbesserungen – auch aktive Vernetzungsarbeit geplant.

Eines ist klar: In Krisenzeiten – zuweilen also known as Alltag – sind Menschen füreinander da. Iniradar ist ein Stückchen Infrastruktur um diese Formen gegenseitiger Hilfe zu unterstützen.

What is Iniradar?

Initiatives, contact points, consultations, with thousands of offers of direct and (sometimes) mutual help, the solidarity infrastructure in Berlin is well established. But in practice - as a person seeking help or as an intermediary - one often feels lost. Who can help me? Is this offer meant for me? What exactly do they offer? Is the offer free of charge? These questions do seem a bit daunting, especially for those people who don't already have access to a well-informed network anyway. And aren't these especially the people we want to reach?

From the initiatives' point of view, there is often little time or resources left to network with each other and to take care of their visibility besides the practical work - even if they would want to do this principle¹. Iniradar wants to fill this gap. Therefore, we have researched and categorized offers of direct help and now make them available as an interactive website, non-commercial, self-organized and permanently free of charge.

"After the crisis is before the crisis"

During the Corona crisis it became clear how essential the solidarity infrastructure is, for concrete help, but also to break the isolation. Inspired by the 'Jetzt erst Recht' alliance of initiatives and activist groups, we started thinking about the project at the end of 2020. Now, almost 2 years later and more or less in time for the next crisis, we are now happy to go online. Then, mutual help allows us to exist in times of crisis and to build up structures of resistance.

"We are not a list of peoples kitchens for the scene".

Iniradar comes with a surprisingly clean - evil tongues say 'hip' - layout. We are not a start-up, but also not a list of punky peoples kitchens neither. So that many people can and want to use Iniradar, we decided on an open design and easy usability. In terms of content, we also want to cover the entire range of support services, from these peoples kitchens (where we love to go) to specialized and sometimes professionalized counseling services for specific target groups. What we do not list, that should be clear, are groups that position themselves in a discriminatory way or are or want to make profit with their offer.

"We do want to change the world... radically!".

There are also initiatives and offers listed, which are not necessarily considered 'radically emancipatory', or something like that. We want someone to get the support as and when it is needed - and in some circumstances this can mean cooperation with actors who support the status quo in society. We do still want to change the world, and do it radically! We have try to tackle this contradiction with our 'classification' for the political background of the groups. This is about 'grassroots-democratic organizing', a 'power-critical attitude' and financial and organizational independence. In this way, we want to create transparency about the background of the offers. At the same time, we want to point out building blocks of a solidary society, as we percieve them.

On our role models and differences

The idea of a political collection of direct-help offers is not new. From the 70s to the 90s onwards there was the Stattbuch³. a kind of 'Yellow Pages' for the movement. Initiatives, contact points and political groups were classified according to their themes, their offers listed and complemented with short texts on their political background. In our digital age, there are already several lists, e.g. the website of the Kältehilfe Berlin, the 'Hilfelotsen' or 'Das Andere Berlin'.⁴ What does not yet exist, to our knowledge, is a cross-thematic and searchable online collection that can be filtered at the level of specific offers. This has now been started with Iniradar.

What we still plan to do

From now on the first version of our website is available on iniradar.org! About 60 initiatives have been registered and it is intended that many more will register themselves in the near future. Towards the end of the year we want to follow up with the final version of the website, and we are planning quite some publicity for it.

But even if the offer is used actively by initiatives, we will not be at our goal yet. We are aware that a website alone will not get us to more networking and mutual help. That is why - in addition to some technical improvements - active (and local) networking is planned.

One thing is clear: in times of crisis - sometimes known as everyday life - people are there for each other. Iniradar is a piece of infrastructure to support these forms of mutual help.
