Vor sechs Monaten kamen die Bullen mit schwerem Gerät, drangen gewaltsam in unser Haus ein, zerrten uns raus und führten uns dem Gerichtsvollzieher vor, der uns mitteilte, dass uns der Zutritt zu dem Haus Liebigstraße34/Rigaer Straße 97 von nun an verwehrt sei.

 Was für ein beschissener Tag!

Der Kampf um dieses Haus gipfelte zwar in diesem Tag, dauerte aber Jahre an.

Und auch wenn sie all die Wut und den Hass verdienen, sind es die Bullen nicht alleine gewesen. Sie leisteten Amtshilfe, eingefordert vom Hauseigentümer Gijora Padovicz.

Wir waren nicht das erste Projekt, was er verdrängt hat und nicht die ersten Bewohner*innen, die er ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste auf die Straße gesetzt hat.

Gerade auf dem Berliner Wohnungsmarkt geht es nicht darum, Menschen das Recht auf Wohnen zu gewähren, möglichst viel und einfach Wohnraum zur Verfügung zu stellen, um den Bedarf in der Metropole zu decken… Nein! Es ist ein Spiel um Macht und kapitalistische Verwertungslogik. In dieser wirken widerständige und selbstverwaltete Orte als Stachel im Fleisch, denn sie stellen diese nicht nur in Frage, sondern bekämpfen sie aktiv. Die vielfältigen Sabotageakte und Soliaktionen zeigen, dass viele Menschen die Verdrängungs- und sogenannte Aufwertungsversuche nicht Tatenlos hinnehmen und für eine Stadt von unten kämpfen.

Besonders in Zeiten einer Pandemie wirkt es völlig absurd, dass Menschen aus ihren Räumen geschmissen oder diese massiv bedroht werden, wie im Falle unserer Nachbar*innen in der Rigaer 94. Vor etwa zwei Wochen wurde die Kiezkneipe Meuterei geräumt, vor zwei Monaten das Camp an der Bucht und letztes Jahr das Syndikat. Die Potse und der Köpi Wagenplatz sind massiv von Räumung bedroht. Private Treffen und linke politische Organisation werden in der Pandemie derart eingeschränkt und knapp alle zwei Monate wird ein weiteres Projekt geräumt. Wie wird das enden und wie wird Berlin in einem Jahr aussehen?

Tatkräftige Unterstützung in verschiedenster Form ist gerade in diesen Zeiten immens wichtig. Diese Kämpfe lassen sich nicht alleine führen, denn gemeint sind nicht nur die Leute, die die Räume bespielen! Es ist ein Angriff auf uns alle, auf unsere Strukturen und die Stadt, wie wir sie uns vorstellen und gestalten. Somit ist ein breiter und lauter und kreativer Widerstand gefragt.

Wer in unseren Kiezen kauft, um daraus einträgliche Hochburgen für Hipster und Yuppies zu machen, kauft Ärger!

Es liegt auf der Hand, dass auch wenn sie uns unsere Räume und Häuser nehmen, es noch lange keinen befriedeten Kiez bedeuten kann. Dabei sind wir alle gefragt es Investor*innen und Interessent*innen so unattraktiv und ungemütlich wie möglich zu machen!

- Es gibt viele Wege Fenster zu öffnen und Fassaden zu gestalten -

Es ist nun sechs Monate her, dass sie uns unseren Freiraum, einen Raum für FLINTA, entrissen haben. Gebrochen haben sie uns damit aber nicht. Wir werden weiterhin ihr queerer Alptraum bleiben.

Die Liebig34 stand nicht nur für Wohnraum, sondern auch für die Bar, in der in den letzten 30 Jahren unterschiedliche Kollektive gekocht, gefeiert, diskutiert, gesoffen, getanzt, gegessen, gestritten und gespielt haben. Sie stand auch für den Infoladen daneben, für ein bedeutendes Archiv antifaschistischer Bewegung, für Rückzugsraum und Treffpunkt.

Als Kollektiv machen wir weiter und unterstützen die Kämpfe ganz besonders um queer-feministische Freiräume.

Denn wir sind so viel mehr als dieses Haus – wir sind Anarchist*innen, Feminist*innen, Queers und Antifaschist*innen, die jetzt ihre Wut bündeln und das kapitalistische Patriarchat bis zuletzt angreifen werden.

Sechs Monate später stehen wir hier und sicherlich hat jede Person wenigstens einmal an den Freitag vor sechs Monaten gedacht und diese Wut in sich gespürt und sich gedacht, wie absolut unnötig es war, dass uns allen das Haus weggenommen wurde.

Lasst uns diese diese Wut in etwas produktives oder destruktives umwandeln. Nehmt euch Räume! Nehmt euch Häuser! Verjagt Investor*innen aus unseren Kiezen!

Der Dorfplatz war und ist ein widerständiger Ort! Und das werden wir einmal mehr unter Beweis stellen!

Deshalb kommen wir am Freitag dem 09.04. ab 16Uhr am Dorfplatz zusammen und auch am Samstag nehmen wir uns die Straße für eine Kraftvolle Demo!

Auf dass kein Angriff auf unsere Räume unbeantwortet bleibt!!!

Gegen die Stadt der Reichen! Für eine Stadt von unten!

Six months ago the cops came with heavy equipment, forced their way into our house, dragged us out and took us to the bailiff, who told us that from now on we were not allowed to enter the house Liebigstraße34/Rigaer Straße 97.

What a shitty day!

The fight for this house culminated to this day, but lasted for years.

And while the police deserve all the anger and hatred, they were not alone in this heinous act of violence. They assisted administrative orders, demanded by the homeowner Gijora Padovicz.

We were not the first project he has ousted, and not the first residents he’s ruthlessly thrown out onto the street.

The Berlin housing market is evidently not about granting people the right to live, or about providing as much and easy housing as possible to meet the high demands in the metropolis... No! It is a game about power and the capitalist logic of exploitation. In this, resistant and self-organised spaces act as a thorn in the flesh, because they not only question it, but actively fight it. The numerous acts of sabotage and solidarity actions show that many people do not accept the attempts at displacement and so-called upgrades to the city of gentrification without action and fight for a city from below.

Especially in times of a pandemic it is completely absurd that people are kicked out of their spaces or that they are severely threatened, as in the case of our neighbours in Rigaer 94. About two weeks ago the neighbourhood kneipe Meuterei was evicted, two months ago the Camp an der Bucht, and last year the Syndikat. The next endangered projects, Potse and Köpi Wagenplatz, are facing the imminent threat of eviction. Private meetings and left-wing political organisation are so restricted in the pandemic and almost every two months another project is evicted. How will this end? what will Berlin look like in a year?

Active support in various forms is immensely important, especially in these times. These battles cannot be fought alone, because these evictions affect many more than just the people who occupy the spaces! It is an attack on all of us, on our structures and the city as we imagine, know, and shape ourselves. Thus, a broad and loud and creative resistance is needed!

Those who buy our neighbourhoods to turn them into profitable hotspots for hipsters and yuppies, buys trouble!

It is obvious that even if they take away our spaces and houses, it still won’t mean a pacified neighbourhood. We are all asked to make it as unattractive and unwelcoming as possible for investors and interested parties!

- There are many ways to open windows and to design facades.

It has been six months since they took away our free space, a space for FLINTA. However, they have not broken us as they have our home. We will continue to be their queer nightmare.

Liebig34 stood not only for living space, but also for the bar where different collectives cooked, celebrated, discussed, drank, danced, ate, learned, argued and played over the last 30 years. It also stood for the info store next to it, for an important archive of antifascist movement, for retreat and meeting place.

As a collective we continue and support the struggles especially for queer-feminist free spaces.

Because we are so much more than this house - we are anarchists*, feminists*, queers and antifascists who will now bundle their rage and attack the capitalist patriarchy to the last.

Six months later we are standing here and surely every person has thought at least once about the Friday six months ago and felt this rage inside and thought how absolutely unnecessary it was that the house was taken away from all of us.

Let's turn that anger into something productive or destructive. Take rooms! Take your houses! Drive investors out of our neighbourhoods!

The Dorfplatz was and is a place of resistance! And we will prove that once again!

So that no attack on our spaces remains unanswered!!!

Against the city of the rich! For a city from below!
