Aufruf zur Kundgebung // Obdachlosencamp am Ostkreuz wird in der Nacht auf den 06. Februar 2020 geräumt

Bei Schnee und Minusgraden wurde gestern nacht das gesamte Obdachlosencamp am Ostkreuz von der Berliner Polizei geräumt. Bewohner*innen durften nicht mehr ihre persönlichen Wertsachen aus dem Camp holen: Heute soll das gesamte Camp abgerissen werden. Das ist ein Skandal! Wir nehmen das nicht hin! Die kälteste Woche des Jahres bei Temperaturen von -12 Grad steht bevor, Corona-Inzidenzzahlen sind nach wie vor hoch, und die Berliner Polizei und Politik hat nichts Besseres zu tun, als den Ärmsten der Armen ihre Unterkunft, Feuerstellen und Besitz wegzunehmen. Auch wenn vielleicht Einige in der ersten Nacht eine Notunterkunft finden können, gefährdet diese Aktion Menschenleben. Was ist verkehrt bei euch, Polizei und Politik?

Wir fordern:

+ Einen Abbruch dieser Räumung

+ Dass Bewohner*innen des Camps dahin zurückkehren dürfen

+ Eine Aussetzung aller Räumungen im Winter und während Corona

Lasst uns den Skandal dieser Räumung sichtbar machen! Kommt zur Kundgebung!

Call for manifestation // Homeless people's camp at Ostkreuz was evicted in the night before 6th of February

Despite snow and temperatures below zero the homeless people's camp at Ostkreuz was evicted by Berlin police yesterday night. Inhabitans were not allowed to take their personal beongings: today the whole camp will be teared down. This is a scandal! We won't take this! The coldest week of the year with temperatures of -12 degrees lies ahead, Corona incidence numbers are still high, and Berlin police and politics have nothing better to do than taking from the poorest of the poor their housing, fire places and belongings. Even though some of the inhabitants might have found an emergency shelter in the first night, this action is risking human lives. hat is wrong with you, police and politicians?

We demand:

+ Cancellation of this eviction

+ that all inhabitants can return to the camp

+ cancelation of all evictions during winter and Corona
