° Fascistic attack in Chania, Kreta. Early in the mourning of 27th Dec. two men from Palestine, one from Morroco and one woman from Germany were brutally attacked in a central bar of Chania town by a team of nationalists with baseball sticks. The three men after the first aids on their heads' heavy injuries left the hospital. The woman is still in Chania hospital with serious injuries on her head and face. Kreta's Immigrants Forum condemns the continues fascistic attacks on the island, which take place under the authorities' tolerance and help to neonazi teams. The fascistic actions rise up in Greece on the dangerous level such the one in central Europe.
° Dimitris Mavreas set free today without any restrictive conditions (only forbidden to leave the country). He was arrested on 6th December 2009 after two Z-team's police officers stated that he was currying a bag with molotov cocktails. But during the questioning new elements were proved after the statements of two eye-witnesses who showed up the officers' machination against him. D. Mavreas during his imprisoning has already acted with two other imprisoners, A. Tachatos and Ch. Pouziaritis (who were arrested on the same day in another place), on the direction to condemn the unacceptable imprisoning conditions in the Police Authorities' buildings in Thessaloniki.

° Announcment for Iran from "Link for the Political and Social Rights":
After the revolt which followed the last elections in Iran, millions of men and women get out in the streets again to opposite against the theocratic and dictatorial status quo of Iran that has struggled any hope for a better life. We solidarize with all these people who struggle for political rights, equality and freedom in a society that is deprived from any right. The american imperialistic policy and unfriendliness against Iran and the "sensitive feelings" of the western authorities do not block us to recognise the life workers' life conditions in Iran, the murders of demonstrators, the tortures of women and the brutality of the local authorities.

"I Hate The Motocyclists"
As long as it seems to be here more "scandalous" that bike-cops attack demos in an already totalitarian dictatorship than as if it happens in Greece it is a revolutionary "duty" for german lefties to try to bring infos about Greece across.
As it is a pervert media teaser it could happen that the audience will get more interested into Greece just because a german woman was badly attacked in Chania.
If that won't lead into some results all the people who are supportingly interested into the greek situation should decide about their aim for counter-information. I think it would make more sense to aim the half million greek-germans who are since a year already more than disapointed about the german media!
