Wellington: Soli Atkion fuer Sebastien
Activists visited the French Embassy in Wellington (Aotearoa/New Zealand) this afternoon to express their horror and disgust at the French government's brutal murder of 21-year anti-nuclear activist Sebastien Briant. He was killed when a train carrying nuclear waste ran over his legs as he was locked onto the tracks.
The resident gendarme attempted to dismiss the delegation from the Embassy, but they managed to force the Deputy Ambassador to make an appearance before the arrival of the Diplomatic Protection Squad Constables Turner and Brody. The gendarme seized the camera and deleted all the photographs.
The Ambassador was attempting to justify his government's continued transport of nuclear waste across Europe and the South Pacific, but the visitors were uninterested in his gross rationalisation.
Instead, they read a message of solidarity:
Nous sommes ici en solidarite avec Sebastien Briat et sa famille et ses amies. Sebastien s'etait enchaine aux voics de chemins de fer a Auicourt en France le dernier Dimanche, Septience da Novembre. Il a voulen blocquer le train dit CASTOR qui transporlait douze containers contenart des dechets atomiques de La Hague jusqu'a Gorleben en Allemague. Le Conducteur du train l'a apercu trop tard. Sebastien est decede de ses blessures apres avoir ses jambes coupe par le train. Sebastien est la victime de l'etat francais et tous les autres nations nucleaires.
Le gouvernement francais est responsable pour la mort de Sebastien.
