Russia: Black Bloc report of last 2 months of radical struggle
Social tension in Russia seems to be descending, but nevertheless the level of people’s resistance including direct action and sabotage remains comparatively high. Many people wait for a new wave of struggle in late spring or summer. Anarchists try to participate appreciably in this movement, but there is obvious necessity to act more organized and strongly to take a chance of spreading anarchist ideal and practice.

Legislation is currently before the Australian Senate to extend the Northern Territory Emergency Response (often called just The Intervention) in 73 aboriginal indigenous communities for another 10 years. The intervention was instituted in 2007 by the conservative Howard Government claiming it was to stop domestic violence and child abuse in indigenous communities.

Remotely living Australian Aborigines to be stripped of all rights
Australian Aborigines in 73 remote communities will be stripped of all rights by laws about to be passed.
The imminent vote in the upper house, the Senate, on what is derisively called “Stronger Futures legislation”, will extend for 10 more years draconian restrictions on Aboriginal people who’ve already suffered five years of them.

This meeting should be seen as a platform for exchanging and harmonizing the different proposals from active groups and community networks of Refugees.
Some refugee communities and support groups are already planning decentralized action during the action day’s event in their localities as solidarity events parallel to the action days in Berlin

Over roughly the past three years my country, America has had the opportunity to have President Barack Obama as our president. It is now 2012 and as we head into the election for those of us that voted for him, though we wish we could say differently in our hearts, there is a place that remains unsure and disappointed. There were so many promises and most of us that voted for him in 2008 knew there was no way to fulfill those all or even mostly. But it was the promise of the man that was not lived up to that was most disappointing and left us the most unsure about who he was - whether we admit it out loud or not. Regardless, this is a pivotal moment that could define where we go as a nation.

Out of Eden: when the private prison bubble bursts
All over the US, small towns like Eden, desperate for jobs, have welcomed private prisons. But ask Littlefield how that's working.

More mistreatment of Australian Aborigines planned
The Australian Labor government is planning more assaults on the rights of Aborigines. It plans to extend for another ten years onerous conditions on income quarantining, education, alcohol and land rights. And moves to dump nuclear waste on Aboriginal land have advanced with a deal between government and opposition.

An ethical, bottom-up approach to human rights, development and globalization is needed to replace top-down, bureaucratic neoliberalism which threatens to seriously slow the rebuilding of Christchurch, New Zealand's second largest city, after devastating earthquakes.
I consider all States should adopt the ethical approach.

Western Sahara is the last colony on the African continent. The international right to self-determination didn’t seem like a valid enough option for half a million Saharawis. Their country is still occupied by Morocco. Since 1975, nearly 200.000 refugees have had to live in camps under the harshest of conditions.
This article contains the opininon of representives of Saharawi Student Union (UESARIO)about the needed strategie to realise self-determination of Saharawi people.

In the days before the eviction signboards were put up, that forbid parking in front of Liebig 14. In a wider radius, neighbours decided voluntarely not to parc their car in the kiez and better be brought home with a taxi. It created a weird calm that was cut by helicopters passing by, humming police cars and crashing glas-bottles.
In severe coldness any people decided to stay in the streets during all the night before the eviction. Sometimes there was live music that smoothend our nerves on the edge (?? better translation please!!). Some people try to limber up at the bakery. Many just wanted to be there without knowing exactly how to contribute actively in the awful spectacle coming up.
Wait? – Or take the time by the forelock with a walk through the neighbourhood? Those, who are outside, have all of the time and all of Berlin. For those, who are inside the Liebig 14, the juridically appointed deadline gets closer, 8 o'clock, and there is still work to be done at the Barricades.
