Just like in the beginning. With the same passion and the same radicality of campaign "The oil is ours". If, in the 1950's, when our daily production was 2,300 barrels, the whole country has mobilized in favor of retaining the oil wealth to Brazilians, what to say about today, when, in only four fields, it is estimated that the reserves of pre-salt layer will produce 16 billion barrels?

As the Vice Minister turned his back
A few days ago, news arrived about the vice Minister visiting Pagani, describing it with the words
“Dantes Inferno”. Today, our faithful source in Mytilini reports about new
revolts in the Detention Center of Pagani.
Today the revolts in Pagani started again. After the Vice Minister of internal affairs visited Pagani two days ago, the violent habits returned to Pagani. Prisoners reported about a huge police brutality after the visit. Some of the prisoners where calls out, one after the other, to the prison Jard. There they where badly beaten by the police. The prisoners felt save, telling the vice Minister about there situation, but in the end there where punished for there statements in front of the visitor. A complain against the police was made by the prisoners.

Citing the trajectory of John "Maddog" Hall, creator of Linux, the governor rejected the criticisms to the adoption of open software. "I watched an interview with this brilliant man, whose name means mad dog, and today met him in this event. Let them call us, too, mad dogs, because here we are transforming ideas into action. Let each of you to be a mad dog: libertarian and intelligent, "said Requião.

Three months ago more than a hundred people walked out of a small Aboriginal community and refused to go back until the Australian federal government responded to their complaints about the lack of consultation and restrictions placed on them under the Northern Territory Emergency Response. Richard Downs, a spokesman for the Ampilatwatja community, explains their cause in a conversation with Phillip Adams on Radio National of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Today the second chamber in the dutch parliament voted for a law that bans squatting. A controversial law because not only squatters but also organisations taking care of monuments, local governments and allot of civilians oppose the prohibition of squatting.
After the vote in the second chamber the first chamber in parliament has to vote, they have a veto. Chances that they will decline the law are very slim.

On the 2nd of October we squatted the Triesterstrasse 114, an old school building in the south of Vienna to establish a houseproject: a space for self-organised, non-commercial projects and communal living. The initial concept was to have an action-week with programs and discussions there and force the city to talk to us (which they otherwise don't do). We got violently evicted today (12 of October) and therefore we call for solidarity actions!

Last Friday (October 1) a crowd of over 70 people made it clear to a far-right gathering in Sydney that fascists are not welcome and that they will not be able to meet undisturbed. A very successful community demonstration was held against KN (Klub National / Klub Nastiya), a monthly social gathering/drinking club for assorted neo-nazis, nationalists, racists and fascists.

During last night hundreds of cops, special cop forces, special guards, Delta cop team, Z cop team and a mass of undercover cops started spreading fear and terror all around the center of Athens and the Exarcheia area. The actions of cop terror keep on during Friday's afternoon and a "wipping action" has been announced by the greek police officers for this evening. There is a small list of citizens' posts about the two days events, so the readers of indymedia.de can have a picture of the european union's human mask. (free translation)
