Nazi-Demonstration Venlo 12 Juni
Dutch and German nazi's will try to demonstrate in Venlo 12 June
Dear fellow antifascists,
again the NVU choose Venlo as its venue to demonstratie, on 12 June from 13.00-17.00. They were very pissed last time when protesters forced the police to cut the route and make them run and didn't protect their cars. The NVU officially complained about this at the police, but their demands were not met. So they are gonna force this time a longer route, more speeches, more time and a sound van in the demo.
Again we call for autonomous action along the route. For sure we will face a 'notzustand' again, but we have to be clever; dress regular, find your spot, organise your thing there. We will try to mobilise as much of the people from Venlo as we can, reminding them that 12 June is the birthday of Anne Frank, the worldwide symbol against Nazism.
We will provide an info-point, lawyers, materials and leaflets.
Currently there is a ban on the NVU-demonstration, but that will almost surely be overruled by the Roermond-court on 10 June.
