°Announcment from unemployed journalists. The official journalist syndicates (government manipulated) do not participate in the organized general strikes. Also lot of journalists are endagered to lose their job, so the "heads" of mass media, who are payed with lots of money for six hours work per day in order to be the mouthpeace of each authority, will stay alone to black-mail without disturb. The owners of many mass media also frighten many journalists, that the newspapers or radio stations will be closed. Journalists in solidarity with their coworkers state that even if a decision for firing journalists will be taken, they will keep on working with their comrades and run the newspapers or radiostations even if the owners will decide to shut them down. As they state: "Nothing is finished, NOW begins the fight!".

°Announcment today to take responsibility of a looted car in Thessaloniki. The looted car was property of an Albania's embassy diplomat and was burnt today early in the morning some meters away from the police station of Lefkos Pyrgos, in the center of the town.

°Organization of solidarity actions with workers of A.C.S. courier company in Agia Paraskevi. The company changed owner in one night and the new owner refuses to give money to the workers who are not payed for the last month. The association of workers in delivering services will fight on the side of their comrades, so they will have their money and they will keep on working under the same conditions they used to before the new owner.

°Action in Syntagma, Athens to spread information about the climate change and the actions in Kopenhagen. From flyers that were spread: "The reason of nature's general distruction is the established politic and economical system, which functions against nature and human". "The society of pollution is not to be cleaned, but to be ruined". "Against the looting of nature, rage for Earth and freedom". "The fight for Earth, life and freedom will be also against authorities and capitalism or they will never exist".

°Fired workers from Services of third age people. The heads of the organization have tried to beat up any action for a syndicate, by firing two workers who tried to syndicalize. In solidarity with the two fired, also other workers of private health companies.

°Actions from General Councils in Thessaloniki to protect the Asylum and solidarize with the arrested people all around Greece: 15 December, Music live in the center of the town. 16 december, Discussion about the Asylum and the today's rages. 17 December, participation in the workers' demonstration.

°On 11/12 action in the center of Ilion district, Athens in solidarity with RESALTO. Flyers, newspapers, information were spreaded around.

°New jail for immigrants on Lesvos island:
Empros published toda an article about the new plans for the
prototipical screening centres that the new government announced to
built instead of more Pagani like detention centres as the old
government had planned. According to the statements of the Vice
Minister of Protection of the Citizen ministry, Spiros Vougias, within
2010 the government will built and run a centre of this kind in Outza
of Mitilini, on a (former?) military camp. The aim is to abolish the
Pagani type of detention centres. In this detention centre of the new
kind, undocumented immigrants who enter Greece will be registered,
identified, medicaly examined and then categorised in order to be transferred to the according places. Asylum seekers will meet the asylum commitee for the examination of their cases, unaccompanied minors will be transferred to the corresponding open reception centres and the ones in need of humanitarian support will be met according to international standards. The rest will be deported. The funds for the construction of the new camps are organized b the Ministry of the Protection of Citizens but come from the Eruopean Fund for Exterior Borders. Until the new detention centre will be built the government wants to rent a hotel in Lesvos island as temporary solution in order
that no undocumented will be transferred to other islands. The detention centre planned for Lesvos will be the first of a whole series of new detention centres. A special comittee will be working on the outlines of these camps and also on the construction of more recption centres (open centres). It consists of representatives of the Ministry of the Protection of the Citizen, The Ministry of Health and Social Solidarity, The ministry of Interior, the UNHCR, the Greek Ombudsman, the new asylum comittee, IOM Greece and the most important NGOs working in the field. Sincew the immigration problem in Greece is
being perceived by the vice minister as a european problem, he announced that efforts are being made by the Greek government to question the Dublin II regulation and to insist on the relocation of immigrants from Greece to other European countries that have less
immigrant populations.

°One more drug addicted dead woman in Korydallos jailhouse on 4th of December. Maria Antoniou, 30 years old, was prejailed because of stealing 20 euros.
