Gr: Alexandros' family about the trial.
The trial about Alexandros Grigoropoulos' assasination will take place on 15th of December with the Areios Pagos (highest court) trying to move the place of the trial in cities away from Athens. First it was unounced the name of Halkida (1 1/2 hour from Athens) and later Amfissa city (3 hours from Athens).
The family of Alexandros Grigoropoulos asked for the trial to take place in Korydallos-Athens and not at Amfissa city. As the family's lawyers mention, they want the trial to take place in the special court room of the female part in Korydallos' jailhouse, where the trials of 17N, ELA and trials of other serious cases have took place.
The lawyer of Grigoropoulos' family, D. Tsovolas mentioned that "the new and unexpected change of the court's place is like throwing oil in the fire, as it blocks the rights of the victim's family and makes more difficult the truth to come up. I protest against it and I ask the straight review of the case, so the trial will take place in the special court room of Korydallos' jailhouse".
Mr. Alexandros Katsantonis, also family's lawyer states under question the Criminal's Part of Areios Pagos decision, after the proposal of AP's I. Tentes prosecutor for reference of the case at Amfissa's court. "This decision means for real that eye-witnesses are blocked from stating at the court because of the distance between the court and the place of their homes, thing that makes us wonder about the purpose of this change. After, the citizens of Amfissa do not have less healthy feelings than the rest of the Greeks", he mentioned.
Reactions also come from the city of Amfissa. "It is not possible for Amfissa and Fokida's area to accept the trial here", stated the Prefect of Fokida, Mr. Nikolas Fousekis, after the decission for the court about 15 years old Alexandros Grigoropoulos' assasination to take place at Amfissa.
Fokidas Prefect described this decision as a "surprise" and emphasised than among the reasons that are against this decision is also that "Amfissa is a small town, near Athens, with the Court House in the middle of the city, also with small and damaged market". The same opinion has also the Mayor of Amfissa Mr. Asimakis Asimakopoulos, but also the president of the chamber Mr. Evaggelos Mytaras.
During the meeting of Fokida's district authorities was decided a meeting of the Majority council of Amfissa, but also the administrative councils so they can declare a straight position and then publish it to all sites, asking not to take place the trial in Amfissa.

gegen Polizeistaat, Repression und deren ausführende Organe überall auf der Welt zu
demonstrieren.
Diese Gewalt ist System: überall greift die Polizei skrupellos an, schlägt zu,
tötet und terrorisiert: 1985 wurde Michalis Kaltezas in Exarchia von einem Polizisten getötet.
In Deutschland wurde am 29.06.1994 der 17-jährige Halim Dener von zwei deutschen Bullen
getötet. Am 21.11.2004 wurde der 12-jährige Ugur Kaymaz aufgrund seiner kurdischen
Herkunft von türkischen Sicherheitskräften mit 14 Schüssen getötet. Am 31.01.2008 tötete die
Polizei in Oakland vor Augenzeugen den 22-jährigen Oscar Grant. Die Liste ließe sich beliebig
fortsetzen
Mord an Alexandros
Alexandros Grigoropoulos wurde am 6. Dezember 2008 in Griechenland von dem Polizisten
Epaminondas Korkoneas erschossen. Der 15-Jährige ist mit Freunden im alternativen Athener
Stadtteil Exarchia zum Feiern unterwegs. Die Jugendlichen treffen auf zwei Polizisten, die nach
einer verbalen Auseinandersetzung laut Augenzeugenberichten zwei Warnschüsse abgeben –
der dritte soll auf Alexandros gerichtet gewesen sein. Dieser dritte Schuss tötet den 15-
jährigen Schüler. Nach Angaben der Polizei griff die Gruppe die Polizisten an und daraufhin
wurden drei Warnschüsse abgegeben, von denen ein Querschläger Alexandros tödlich
verletzte. Er wird am 9. Dezember 2008 beerdigt.

Der Mord an dem anarchistischen Genossen rief weltweit Proteste hervor: Bei den am selben
Abend in Griechenland einsetzenden Ausschreitungen wurden 24 Polizisten verletzt, 31 Läden,
9 Banken, 25 Personenkraftwagen beschädigt bzw. abgebrannt. Am Montag zogen ca. 4000
Autonome durch die Athener Innenstadt; an diesem Tag waren bereits etwa 500 Geschäfte,
Banken, Autohäuser und Behördengebäude in ganz Griechenland beschädigt und 40 Personen
verletzt. Vom 6.12.08 bis zum 14.Januar 2009 gab es mindestens 284 Festnahmen, darunter
111 alleine in Athen. In London wurde die griechische Botschaft angegriffen, das griechische
Konsulat in Berlin wurde von DemonstrantInnen besetzt – auch in Düsseldorf wurde das
griechische Konsulat besprüht. Die Bullen Epaminondas Korkoneas und sein Kollege Vassilis
Saraliotis wurden am 12.Juni 2009 wegen Mordes und Mittäterschaft angeklagt. Das Urteil steht
noch aus.
Ein Jahr später
Auf die andauernden Proteste nehmen die Medien noch immer Bezug – unter anderem wird die
veränderte Wählerstimmung in Griechenland und der Sieg der Sozialisten darauf zurückgeführt.
Der Protest hat sich zudem radikalisiert und bewaffnete Gruppen haben sich gegründet.
PolizistInnen betreten den Stadtteil Exarchia nicht mehr, der einmalige Versuch im September
2009 wurde direkt angegriffen. Das Vermummungsverbot steht aufgrund vieler Proteste auf der
Kippe; es gibt weiterhin Angriffe auf Banken, leider auch Festnahmen. Europaweit protestieren
Menschen gegen die unzumutbaren Zustände; gegen veraltete Schul- und Universitätssysteme,
geringe Löhne und Hartz IV, mangelnde Aufstiegschancen, Vetternwirtschaft, Korruption...
Und auf der anderen Seite? Nicht zuletzt hat ein Bulle seine Waffe bei der geplanten Besetzung
des Flughafen Tegel gezogen. AktivistInnen wurden in Berlin mangels begründeten Verdachtes
monatelang wegen angeblicher Brandstiftung an PKWs in Untersuchungshaft gehalten. Das
System versucht Proteste zu unterdrücken, zu kriminalisieren und damit zu verhindern.
Und jetzt?
Wir lassen uns nicht verbieten! Wir wollen soziale Unruhe und zwar jetzt!
Wir sind für eine herrschaftsfreie, solidarische, friedliche Gesellschaft – dafür werden wir alles
tun! ACAB! Fight the System!
