Demo in Protset of Murder in Bil'ini- Berlin
Today in Berlin 100 people have demonstrated in Protest of the murder of Bassem Abu Rahme and in solidarity with the joint Palestinian, Israeli and international resistance against the occupation.
The demonstration was organized in one day by a diverse coalition of grupps including the Jewish Voice for Just Peace, ISM, IWPS, Anarchists Against the Wall- Berlin, the International League for Human Rights, The German section of War Resistance International and members of the Palestinian Community. The demonstraters assemblied in the heart of Kreuzberg in Heinrichplatz and carried pictures of the Israeli photografers collective Activestills documanting the Resistance against the Wall and also pictures showing Bassem and his killing. The demnonstrators then marched on the Oranienstrasse calling in German "Long Live the International Solidarity", "The Wall must fall" and "Free, Free Palestine". Members of ISM, AAtW, Medico International and the International League for Human Rights as well as Members of the Kurdish community held speaches to the crowd and to the many Berliners that were on the street about the joint resistance in Palestine, the Killing of Bassem and stressed the necessety of international pressure against the Israeli Apartheid regime.
