Solidemo für Christian und Andrea in Tel Aviv

Am 30.6 haben sich 20 AktivistInnen vor der deutschen Botschaft in Tel Aviv versammelt um ihren Protest gegen die deutsche Regierung und ihre Solidarität mit dem antifascistischen Widerstand in Deutschland zu zeigen. Obwohl es viel mehr Polizei als Demonstranten gab, war die Stimmung gut, vor allem als vor kurzem gelernte Parolen auf deutsch gerufen wurden, die viele an ihren letzten Aufenthalt in Berlin errinerten.

Neben einem grossen Transparent worauf auf Hebräisch zu lesen war "Freiheit, ohne Zäune, ohne Grenze" gab es auch zwei Plakate auf Deutsch, die die eher lustige Situation (von einer israelischen Perspektive aus gesehen) in der deutschen Linke humorvoll kommentierten: " Nie wieder Deutschland, Nie wieder Israel" und " Gegen Antisemitismus, Gegen Zionismus". Außerdem gab es natürlcih auch ein Plakat auf Englisch "Free Christian and Andrea, Nazis raus" und eine grosse Antifa Fahne.

Darunter ist noch der Aufruf zur Kundgebung auf Hebräisch und Englisch zu lesen.





אנדראה וקריסטיאן הם שני אסירים פוליטיים שיושבים כבר יותר מחצי שנה בבתי כלא בברלין על פעילות אנטי נאצית. הם נעצרו על חסימת כביש שבו צעדה הפגנה של ניאו נאצים בדצמבר 2007 , והואשמו בהפרה סדרתית של הסדר הציבור, הטיעון לעונש הכליאה הארוך של שלוש שנים היה, שהם מודעים פוליטית ולכן אמצעים רגילים לא ירתיעו אותם מהמשך הפעילות, במהלך המשפט השופטים הציעו להם להתחייב להפסיק את הפעילות הפוליטית ולהשתחרר בו ביום, אבל הם סרבו ובמקרה כזה החליט בית המשפט אין מנוס אלה לשמור על החברה המהוגנת מאנשים מסוכנים כל כך וגזר לשים את הנאשמים בהתנגדות פעילה לנאציזם מאחורי סורג ובריח.

"הסדר הציבורי" שאותו הם הפרו, הוא הסדר שמאפשר לניאו נאצים לתקוף מהגרים. ושישים שנה אחרי מלחמת העולם השנייה, לבצע פוגרומים נגד קהילות של פליטים. סדר, פירושו בגרמניה שניאו נאצים יכולים לצעוד ברחובות וכל מי שמפגין נגדם סופג את כל עוצמת הדיכוי שהמדינה מסוגלת לנפק.

מאז המאסר שלהם שלטונות הכלא עשו הכול על מנת לשבור את רוחם. אנדראה נשלחה ליחידות הבידוד לעיתים תכופות, נשללו ממנה זכויות הביקור, טלפון ודואר כי כמו שאמרה לה מפקדת הכלא "את אסירה פוליטית, אותך אנחנו צריכים לשבור, כדי שתהיי דוגמה למה שקורה למי שמערער על הסמכות של המדינה" קריסטיאן סבל גם הוא לא מעט, הוא לא קיבל את התרופות שהוא צריך, שללו ממנו ביקורים, והטילו עוד שלל הגבלות.

לסולידאריות יש משמעות עצומה, במיוחד שמדובר באסירים פוליטיים. עצם המטרה של המאסר היא לבודד אותם מהפעילות הפוליטית. הסולידאריות מראה שחומות בתי הכלא לא יכולים לעשות את זה, שההפך הם נהפכים למוקדים של פעילות. במקרה הזה לסולידאריות בארץ יש משמעות יותר גדולה, בגלל שמטבע היחסים המיוחדים הממשלה הגרמנית רגישה יותר לביקורת שמועברת עליה מהארץ, והפגנה נגד מאסר של פעילים בתנועות ההתנגדות לניאו נאציזם יכולה באמת לעזור, חוץ מזה שזו בקשה אישית של קריסטיאן. בתור פעילים שנמצאים באזור שבו יש ריכוז גבוה מאד של אסירים פוליטיים. עלינו לשאוף לבניית סולידאריות בינלאומית ולקרוא לשחרור כל האסירים הפוליטיים.

Andrea and Christian are political prisoners that are imprisoned in Berlin for over six months now. They were arrested in December 2007 while blocking a neo Nazi demo, they were accused of serial disobedience. The argument leading to a three years imprisonment is that they are politically aware so a regular punishment is not enough to deter them. During their trial the judges offered to release them the same day if they commit to stop any political activity, Andrea and Christian refused to this deal, which meant the judges decided to lock them up in order to defend the public order.

The public order which needs to be defended is the same one that allows neo Nazis attacks on immigrants and pogroms against refugee communities, sixty years after the Second World War. This order means that neo Nazis can walk in the streets and whoever resists that can suffer greatly from state repression.

Since Andrea and Christian arrest, the state did a good job trying to break their spirit. Andrea was often sent to solitary confinement, she was denied her right for visits phone calls and mail. And in the words of her prison commander: "you are a political prisoner; we need to break you so you can be an example to whoever undermines state authority". Christian also suffered a series of restraints; he didn't get his medicine and was denied visits.

Solidarity always has a special meaning. When it comes to prisoners the purpose of the imprisonment is to isolate them from there political activities. Solidarity shows that we are stronger then the prison walls. In this case solidarity coming from here is very meaningful because the German government is more sensitive to critic coming from Israel. A demo against the arrest of two anti Nazi activists can really help (Also it is a personal request from Christian). As political activists in an area which suffers from a large concentration of political prisoners, we need to work on building international solidarity with this cause, and to call out – freedom to all political prisoners.
