Berlin: Attempt of break-in at Liebig 34/XB

The attempted break-in was discovered at 9:30 Sunday morning when a woman of the house noticed that parts of her bike-wagon was missing, and that the door of the groundfloor workshop was open. The missing wagon parts was found outside the door leading into XB, where it had been used as a crowbar to bend the cover of the lock on the door. The door and the lock itself was otherwise not damaged, and still locked shut.

The door of the workshop had no sign of damage, but was confirmed closed and locked at 2 am. the same night.

After an inspection of the area it was clear that at least two other doors had been attacked: One door had been attempted to open with a crowbar, and the padlock on the door to the toilets of the XB had been opened with a bolt-cutter.

All doors that have been attacked were in the yard or the gate, not facing the street. There was no graffiti, nothing stolen or broken.

There was people in XB until 3 am., so it must have taken place after that time. If someone has seen anything suspicious around the house this night, please contact infoladen Daneben (in Liebig 34).
