Plans to build on ground 69
In an official response to questions from the City Council, the city planning office has been involved in meetings with Human A/S, the holding company that formally owns Ground 69.
The meetings were preliminary but several concrete proposals were tabled and discussed. At least one other company who owns the neighbouring property has also expressed interest in starting construction on the ground.
According to the response a planning period of at least ten to twelve months is to be expected before any construction plans would be accepted by the city, so at least another couple of years with Jagtvej 69 as an empty lot is expected.
Human A/S has attempted to sell the property but at the time found no buyer willing to run the associated risk. Also activists have made it clear that any construction project on the property will be targeted for all out sabotage.

Last Friday a Copenhagen based activist returned unexpectedly to her collective which was empty while the members were at work. When she tried to unlock the door she found she couldn't because it was blocked from the inside. She tried a couple of times before being interrupted by two police detectives rushing up the stairs.
The detectives claimed that neighbours had complained about the noise from the hallway. Only later the activist remembers that both the downstairs and next door flats are empty and there are no neighbours to complain.
Using the excuse the detectives lured the activist away from the door and down to the street where they questioned her extensively and asks to see the keys for the collective. Meanwhile another officer on the street was making a mobile phone call under the pretext of checking the activists personal details, which is always done by radio.
After a couple of minutes the detectives release the activist who hurries back up. By then the door opens easily and the flat is empty. The only evidence of the raid is a gym bag left open, its contents obviously disturbed.
Finnish embassy paintbombed
On 06.01.08 during the night the finnish embassy in Copenhagen was paintbombed.
This attack is a direct response to the termination of negotiations between the city of Helsinki and the squatting movement behind "Elimäenkatu 15", a decision made by the Helsinki Youth Department. The declaration from the group said: "With our anger we show our finnish friends our support and solidarity. We have not forgotten your help and we will not forget to help you in the coming struggle. The finnish politicians and bureaucrats seems to have forgotten the price Copenhagen payed for escalating a similar conflict recently."
The Demonstrations about the Ungdomehuset are still continuing.

Laut Stadt Beamten konkrete Pläne zu beginnen Bau auf Ground 69 gemacht werden.
In einer offiziellen Antwort auf die Fragen aus dem Stadtrat, Planungs-Büro der Stadt hat sich in Gesprächen mit Human A / S, der Holdinggesellschaft, die formal besitzt Ground 69.
Die ersten Treffen wurden aber mehrere konkrete Vorschläge wurden eingereicht und diskutiert. Mindestens ein anderes Unternehmen, die Eigentümer der benachbarten Eigentum hat auch ihr Interesse bekundet, sich der Beginn der Bau auf dem Boden.

Mit dem Vorwand, die Detektive, die gelockt Aktivist weg von der Tür und hinunter auf die Straße, wo sie ihre Frage ausführlich und fragt, um zu sehen, die Schlüssel für das Kollektiv.
