WTO soli demo in Berlin
Hier sind Bilder von die anti-WTO soli demo in Berlin heute. War ca. 50 leute dabei, und Samba band und Clown Army auch! Wir haben die Raised Voices (
http://www.raisedvoices.net/) video gezeigt, und wir haben entland Unter den Linden gelaufen, direckt vor der Russisch (G8 2006) und Britisch (G8 2005) botschaft. Wir haben etwas gesagt gegen WTO und G8, und am ende wir war direkt vor der Hotel Adlon, von die Kempinski gruppe, firma mit die Hotel in Heilingendamm wo die 2007 G8 Gipfel will sein in Deutschland. Dar war viel schnee heute, aber war auch spass! Hier are some pics from the Anti-WTO solidarity demo today in Berlin. There were about 50 people there, even though it was damn cold! Someone brought tea and soup, which was super. We started out with the Berlin Samba band playing a few tunes to warm us up, and then the loud speaker van began the tour down world famous Unter den Linden street. We passed the Russian Embassy (host of 2006 G8 summit) and the British Embassy (host of 2005 G8 summit), and talked about the responsibilities and failures of the G8, WTO, and the British and Russian governments in realtion to world poverty and trade problems. We ended up at the Brandenburg Gate, directly in front of the famous Hotel Adlon, where Michael Jackson almost dropped his baby 2 years ago. The hotel is owned by the Kempinski group, which also owns the hotel in Heilingendamm where the G8 will meet in Germany in 2007.
