were released, 7 of them are still under arrest.
as i know those who were released paid a bail of
1500 euros, for sure they were put on parole. every
month they have to come to thessaloniki and
make a declaration (for those having passport of eu
countries), 7 comrades are waiting inside. especially
there is a comrade from syria, i say especially
because if he is released and sent back to his
country he may face death penalty. the other
comrades' situation is indeterminate.
.....
some comrades in thessaloniki were taken while
they were walking on the street, sitting in a cafe
(these are people having criminal records).
although there was no molotov on a greek comrade
while he was arrested, he wass being charged with
the crime of burning and plundering by the
eyewitness of a civil police. and we have learned
that prisoned comrades were tortured; but according
to the former informatory declarations of legal team
and what was stated before in talks with people
living in here was that police terribly attacks to the
protestors (outside) (just like tr-turkish republic)
but does nothing under arrest. for sure no need to
remind about the issue of chemicals.
.....
soon ago a big meeting was organized in polytechnic
and current situation is overviewed. there was about
250 people. in general, solidarity with those who were
arrested is stated. the question on the agenda was
what to do. an information came about squatting of a
place in germany for solidarity. for now graffities
are being done in streets. common leaflets will be
published and to collect money concerts will be
organized.
