Seit Stunden ziehen Gruppen von 70-100 Demonstranten Fahnen schwenkend und Parolen rufend durch die Innen stadt Thesalomikis. Aber alle kleinere emonstrationen werden sich in den drei grossen Haptdemonstrationen aufloesen. Um 18:00 Uhr startet die anarchistische Demonstration von der besetzten Universitaet, um von dort aus die Hauptstrasse Egnatia durch die Innenstadt entlangzulaufen. Ebenfalls um 18:00 Uhr kreuzt die grosse Demonstration des GSF die Hauptstrasse um durch die Innenstadt die Hauptstrasse Tsimski entlang ichtung Osten zu durchlaufen.
Seit 17:00 Uhr marschieren die Kommunisten an der havenpromenade, unter anderem auchauf der Hauptstrasse Tsimski richtung Westen.
Es ist zu erwarten dass alle Demonstrationen treffen, die anarchistische will sich nach der Demonstration in drei Bloecke spalten. Die Derzeitigen Schaetzungen liegen bei 200-250.000 Menschen, die stimmung ist gut und kraftvoll, die Demonstranten international.

- 23:20 University There are a large number of police officers outside the university campus. Unconfirmed reports from the media centre indicate that the University Council will allow police into the University grounds about 8 hours from now. Mainstream radio does not report this. Street fighting is reported outside the campus near the Faculty of Philosophy. There are confirmed reports that 30 arrests have been made, unconfirmed ranging up to 50. The situation is confused and we are trying to clarify what is happening.
- 20:57 Radio: Radio Stream is Offline: The Police is not in the University at the moment.
- 19:35 University: At least 30 people have been arrested by police in connection with street fights close to the Philosophical faculty. The police are using massive amounts of tear gas against the activists. The University's magistrate are considering to let the police arrest people in the University's grounds, something the police does not have permission to do.
- 17:00 Eganatia: The black block, having stood at the university for the night, marched to Eganatia street. A bank (Agrotiki), offices of the Greek Communist Party (KKE) and a McDonalds restaurant were attacked. The police responded with a lot of tear gas, and repelled the black block.

sie haben aber versprochen, dass sie wieder online gehen und auf indymedia italien verwiesen.

erst kurz später entdeckt, mittlerweile kann nicht mal mehr die quellseite des streams angezeigt werden...
hoffen wir mal das beste, sprich das
- die leute noch rausgekommen sind (sprachen in der letzten minute tatsächlich von eventueller direkter gefährdung durch vorrückende polizei
- der stream nochmal online geht (was ich mittlerweile bezweifle, persönliche einschätzung(!): wahrscheinlich von offizieller seite dichtgemacht)

We stopped the broadcasting from the indymedia center, according to the information that the asyllum was about to be broken down. Everyone is okay, except for a foreigner coleage of us that was arrested during the demonstration.
