CATASTROPHY OF MONUMENTS IN GREECE
Today at 3.00 pm there will be a broadcast at the second radio programm (Munchen-Bavarian) about Akropolis of Athens and the surround area that is suffering from destructions with the excuse of the Olympic Games 2004.
The Greek Supreme Court decided unanimously that the construction of giant building 100m far from Akropolis on an archaeological field high value is illegal.
ICOMOS (member of UNESCO) 122 countries national representatives decided that this construction is against the Greek Archaeological Law and the International Treaties for the protection of Monuments.
EU didn't approve the money for the construction for the same reason.
But the constructor with the cover of some people from the ministry of Culture continues the catastrophe without legal right.
After Marathon battlefield, Keramikos ancient cemetery etc. now is time for Akropolis and surrounded area to suffer.
