Stopped at the italian border German and Swiss bikers going to Genova
today 14-07 in Chiasso, at the border between Swiss and Italy, the police stopped a group of 30 bikers coming from Germany and Swiss.
They arrived at about 6.00 pm to go to meet the bikers' track heading to Genova; italian police took their documents for some hours and finally told them that 3 persons, probably identify in Praha, could not go to Italy because of "public order problems".

The bikers decided to stay in Chiasso and squat an empty building to wait for other people coming from North of Europe with whome they want to retry to enter Italy.

I thought that people were able to travel freely within the EU treaty of Schengen. Oh I must have forgotten that that wasn't the case anymore. We are in the year 2001 and the "Fortress Europe" with its 15 great elected democrats that don't like opinions that don't fit with theirs. So of course they must now by all means close borders to all of those that think differently. The only problem here is that is what we call totalitarism not democracy. I think that these gentlemen/ladies would have been quite conmfortable in Berlin of 1933 or the other way around would even be better, Hitler I'm sure would enjoy having power in Europe today. Hey what an easy ride, you just have to break some laws here and there and have your borders closed et voilà !!!
